I'm the wrong one to ask. I use my XTRB 6000, 8000 and 10'000 on 6', 8', 10' all the way to 15'

Keep it simple. All spare spools are used on all rods, speed of retrieve is maximised for speed fishing etc,etc etc

I am in the market for two 10's at the moment. I went to western accessories and had a look at the finesse and vengeance. I saw the vengeance also has low riders now. The difference in price negligible. You mentioned earlier that the vengeance is a good rod as well.

Can you maybe elaborate a bit more on the differences between the two before I buy please.

P.S thanks for your advice. I find it very helpful.

The Vengeance is a rod that is parabolic in action and relatively soft all the way through

The Finesse has a lot more backbone and a ultra soft tip

Personal preference would dictate which one you would buy.

My personal preference is the Finesse and my son is undecided but has been fishing the finesse now for 3 years with great success.
