Just some ways to distinguish between a smallmouth and largemouth

 

Smallmouth has a brown color. Also the eye is red. Not sure if the whole eye is red or if it just looks a bit red. Then also the smallmouth’s jaw stops before the eye where as the largemouth stops behind the eye

I caught most in the dam just above the "bass dam" - But the bass dam looks very nice
