Hi Guys, I am looking for a small ski boat for use

No not the same as a Ski Vee. Good solid little boats though. As far as I know the Hustler version had low gunnels(more for spearfishing).
Maybe a pic will help to see exactly which boat you are referring to. They are nippy and quick in the surf and being a V even though small can punch a wave if you have to. A pleasure to maneuver on the beach.
The boat will be wet in chop especially with a side wind but so are all small boats. Likewise small V bob around a bit when drifting.
As long as you watch the weather, you should be more than happy.
If the price is right for two up go for it, ideal for Moz.

Thanks for the feedack. I did some research and some of my findings re the TrimCraft was a bit worrysome. So maybe I will just wait for a good small SkiVee or Acecraft or the like.
I actually have a small Gemini semi rigid duck that is rigged for divers. Whilst its in great condition, especially the trailer, pontoons & transom being as new, I would prefer a solid glass fibre boat for my remote Moz & Zambezi fishing trips. This rubberduck has 2 x 30HP Yammies which are virtually new. My thoughts are to swop the motors around with my new boat.

With 2 x 30 hp availible look for a 14'6 Ski vee, perfect match, if you cannot find a second hand one, order a new one(yes they still build them new).
My original Dave Olufsen Ski Vee 500(1995) has two 50 Hp motors and that is Max 2x 40 hp would be perfect, but she flies with the 50's and is a solid little boat.
Either way Ski Vee's are great boats with a track record to match and perfect for Moz.
