I want to convert a cabin boat into a spinning/flyfishing vessel. I'm looking for a reliable guy who does this sort of work. It would be much appreciated if anyone has a referral.

stav sell the boat you have and then get one that you want. conversions like that cost a lot of money if done properly and will never end up the way you wanted it to look or perform

It was done about 2 and a half years ago and I havent looked back!

As a DIY project it's fine, but to get a boat builder to do the conversion, may not be very cost effective.
