Hi all, I bought a fish finder ( Commodore for R750). I had it installed by a "pro". Only going to be able to get my boat on the water when i go on holiday in Nov/ Dec. Can someone please give me the information on how to read it? I will only be using it in lagoons/ estuaries.

Does it show you fish that are below your transom & behind the boat? All info will be greatly appreciated. ::jest

Firstly, read the owners manual!

Get youre settings as you like it.

Then go to the water. Learn to read the whiteline if set that why.

Learn what fish like what kind of bottom: rocky, grass, sand.

@Lacost - Being able to get depth and temperature out of this unit is quite easy to do. Expecting anything more from the unit is a bit of a stretch.

The screen shots remind me of an old space invader game.

I'm afraid Fishton is right. Very entry level! Don't expect much more.

Daai kom van 1979 af. Toe ons nog DOS moes ken om die "ding" te start en mee te werk. En voor jy die "ding" afsit moet jy eers gaan "park disk". Anders verloor jy jou hele HD van 512k...as ek reg onthou:)

Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Make sure that your transducer is aligned correctly with your hull.
