Hi All,

I am doing a session this weekend on swim 12 which I have not fished before, On other swims I have always used a boat and taken lines 20 meters short of the other side approx, I was told to fish 30 meters out on swim 12.

Any one got some advise on how far out I should be I would greatly appreciate it as I don't have a fish finder

It went very well got my new PB and 3 other fish over 10KG, all from the opposite bank, My peg mate fished 50 meters out and blanked, Don't know why I was told fish 30 meters out but thankfully did not listen to that.

Well done.what was the size?bait and rigs used if you dnt mind me asking?.how was the grass there?

size was 14,8KG and I got all fish on double bottom bait biolies, I fed maize, hemp, pellet and boilies mouse trap style

Howzit Chris John, how far out did you set your rigs? I am planning a weekend session in Feb on swim 12 as well and have never fished donnies.

Hi Wittes,

You will pick up issues on swim 12 as the general rule is you cannot fish more than 80 meters out in the bay swims, I was luck y that nobody was on swim 13 and 14 so could get my lines to the other side, you need to be 20 meters from he other bank.
