Hello Zulu

I have heard that there are a few cob coming out of the Goukama River near Buffalo Bay. Try the area where the road has been washed away and there is a detour. This is apparently where that have been. If they not there I would try renting a  canoe in the reserve and paddling upriver on the full tide. There a patch of deeper water that can hold fish especially when the water as cold as it is now. Plenty grunter in the river aswell but tough to catch on ds.

Try any minnow that you can get close to the bottom and at times disturb the bottom. Use colours to match the water colour.

Generally fishing is tough this time of year because all the water receives so much traffic. Fish become shy and do not take lures readily. The Goukama does not get any boats so could be a wise choice. There is a good full tide late in the afternoon tomorrow. Take a small plug with you as this river has a few small leeries and with the cold water a few may have come into the river. The same could be true for shad.

Regards

Anton
