Hey peeps

Just wanted to find out from you guys if derdesteen is a possible spot to dive. I know the water can get rough on the shorebreak there, but if you can get in and you can get out safely then it should be fine, right?

Would be awesome to shoot a steenie!

theres very few days in the year that area is diveable,when it is i,m sure it will be good.

I see. So what is the viz usually like there? 1-2m?

the stretch from blouberg up until melkbos seldomly has viz > 1m. Melkbos is your best bet

Protocol, try soetwater! The guys shoot big fish there. . . But u didnt hear that from me. Hahahaha

I was actually there yesterday, but the water was too big and the viz was terrrrrible. Will try sometime tho
