Hey guys, hope the cold weather aren’t stopping you to fish.

Last year I bought Slam plastics and used it to a bit of success during December. But that is not my point.

When I opened my lure box I found some of my slam plastics dried out. As you can see in the picture its bad! I tossed some of them in normal water and a day later the absorbed the water and looked normal again. Then I got an idée.

What do you think about letting them soak in the excess water/oil we find in our canned tuna or even caned sardines? I’m almost certain the fish will love the taste and smell of it.

Tell me what you guys think, or maybe you already tried it.

worth a try, nothing to lose with experimenting with one, should work in theory.

Good Idea there Kipi,
I'm going to hang a few up in the garage to dry and shrink and then soak up some tuna oil/sauce and give them a try....anythings worth a try with the poor fishing I've been having lately. Have some cred mate.

if you really want a scent past try this.

Take vaseline,put it in a small dish.Give it a short blast in a microwave,ad some aniseed oil and some berkely gulp juice.Allow to cool and store in small container.Rub tiny amount onto your lures.

It works,fish love aniseed
