Hi all. I've seen a few posts from people trying to catch fish from hennops river in the centurion area. Its always been close 2 home so I fish there a lot, whenever our lovely rainy season is due its time 2 keep ur fishing rod close at hand, set yourself up with a small rod or 2 and head down 2 the river. What you want 2 do is find a spot that is not 2 shallow and flowing heavily. Malberry trees is a must but they are everywhere so ur spot won't be 2 difficult to locate. If you do manage to find a deep Eddie you are in luck. Use a single hook trace with a sliding sinker. (Hook below the sinker). A small hook will do. Now add as many earthworms as you can on the hook. I prefer 2 dig worms next 2 the river. Better results. Cast your line into the circulating water. Once again better results. I have caught many good fish in this river. Carp, yellowish, barbel and when the time is right plenty little muddies. Hope you enjoy, tight lines and good luck.
