guys you know i got my boat,now i want to know,i know you cant dive crays out from a boat using a diving tank,but im not using tanks,is it possible to spear fish off your boat?i just want to know is it legal to dive crays and spear fish off a boat deep sea?thanks::slo

Hey Len. Of course you can spearfish off your boat. However, in Natal it is illegal to net for crays or to dive from a floating object while collecting them. You can still dive Aliwal, but only on the outside >20m deep (I stand to be corrected). There is a thread on this subject in spearfishingsa.co.za. One can also spear in the reserves on the Northern Natal coast but only for pelagics. Let me know if you ever need a dive buddy.

Long time no sea.... or hear...

In Cape Town I know you can spearfish from your boat... ( ask Miles )  but as far as crayfish go ... NO ... will be the answer.

Dont forget your fishing trip in December at TITIESBAAI  (o)(o)   ....lol lol lol
