Hallo almal

weet enige iemand of daar nog vis uitkom by Monument dam Krugersdorp, ek wil Saterdag bietjie daar gaan sit en vang maar ek het onlangs gehoor daar is al heelwat vis uitgehaal by die dam en dat hy amper leeg gevang is

Ek het onlangs n draai gemaak by Corenation dam maar het liewes weer gery teveel Junkies en Prossies, daar was ook twee Clowns wat die karpe wat Spawn probeer "jigg"het met n Lepel (die wat jy Shad mee vang) ek dink die cape hope het bietjie gepraat so ek het nie eers met hulle probeer redekabel nie.

Wish I had an answer for you Henry, but I dont, I just know that some guys still fish it. If I had to guess, I would say yes there should still be, it would be some feat if the guys fishing there on weekends stripped the dam completely.....but that's just me....

Thanks i will go there over the weekend and see whats going on there , on my way to work  this morning i saw a few guys fishing the dam the conventional way and they even had unhooking mats so atleast there are some guys putting the fish back.

I think my source that told me the Dam is empty prophably blanked there and decided the dam must be empty LOL

How big the fish may be I dont know but chances of depleting carp except when dam dries up is close to zero they populate at an exponential rate!

I had a few in a cement dam on the farm and they overpopulated it in a very short time.

Hi Terrance

i was there a few times since, caught a few nice fish but the speciman way works best there i coaught a 9.8 Kg on tigernuts from the shopping centre side towards the island.

i met a few guys who fished the dam conventionally plain mealies with a white dough backing seems to work for them but it is really worth trying the tigernuts on a hair the dam is small so one pick them up easily especially before sunset.
