It is 1.2mm 316ss. Solid no core. Breaking strain must be close to a ton. I am told that if you buy it in bulk it costs less than R1 a meter. But a roll is very very long. I am sure if you buy from an installer it will still work out cheap.

Hi Guys I have been using the 316 tig ss rods to make slides and them are perty strong. buy them at 1m lenght for about R 6 a length
