What sharks were they?

Myself and Stevo went Knysna on the 29th September at about three in the afternoon after pumping pink prawn in Wildernis.
After launching the boat, we went to make first anchor infront of the big house. That spot produced the only two white steenies for the next hours. Nothing came out except for a small spine tail ray.
We tried chummie, polly worm, blood worm, sand worm, pink prawn, pilchard, red bait...all with the same result...untouched...
Where did you catch the sharks? From boat or the side? The might be smooth hound sharks, did thet have teeth or was the mouth more like a file?
