Hi everyone,
Just a quick update. Vacation have come and gone, and I'm back at work again

.
Fishing conditions in Margate, Uvongo, St Michaels and Shelly was not great last week. There was a very big "wash" which caused alot of frustration all over. Even the heaviest sinkers that I could get hold of, could not manage to anker my bait on the ocean floor. The strong winds also did not help alot. I tried almost everything in the book - sardine, red eye sardine, prawn, chokka etc etc. Not even any luck on the spoons which we casted out.
I only saw one smallish shad comming out at the Margate Pier, but not a single other fish. Lots of anglers, but no fish.
I could not help to wonder - is the poor fishing due to bad weather condition, or have the resources been depleted so badly, that there is not a lot left to catch anymore?
