I know the double step doesn't go all to well on the rocks, but of the beach it might just give you that extra few meters to reach the sand bank.
The way my double step ends is to swivel your foot in the sand, thus turning your whole body during the cast, and not just the upper part of the body, which gives a bit more momentum to the cast, combined with the added momentum of the run up, it should as a few meters, that is if you can keep your balance.
Baie interresant!!!! (amper soos happy gilmore...:) Dankie vir jou input! Sal dit a go gee!!! :SSS

Big cast on the demo, from release till the clamp down on the spool was 29counts making that a 170m plus cast - was I close?
