Goliath Tiger on Fly..

Hi Batman, i'm going up to Brazzaville in July, do you have any contacts i could get in touch with to perhaps fish for tiggers?

well i am back!! What a trip!! Unfortunatly had 3 days of rain which gave me 2 full days of fishing. Managed to land 3 small goliaths and lost 12, including a pig of a fish at an estimated 20kg, snapped my repaired fly line :X. Fished mainly in Stanleys pools off the boat and sand banks. Fly wise the goliaths seemed to like the brush flies i tied.

Footage of first recorded hydrocynus goliath..
2008 saw the first recorded goliath tiger fish from the Congo River been taken on fly, the next part to this quest starts in the morning in Brazzaville. Will be fishing the Mighty Congo this time tommorrow targeting hydrocynus goliath, vitattus and forskahlli, The congo basin being the only place on the African continent that has 3 out the 5 species in it's waters...
