Check out this video of all Florida Bass we got at Goedtrouw near Eshowe in one day, mostly on topwater.

And here is a +/- 3kg Bass that was taken at inanda on a Strike King Z-Too fished weightless, we get plenty Bass like this

Got some more nice one the same way on Friday at Inanda.

This is such a simple but effective way to get Bass, and more often than not some good sizes.

I heard that Goedetrouw's Bass are on a feeding frenzy and that 3 guys got over 100kgs of Bass between 3 & 4Kgs on lipless cranks on Saturday. Wish I was there

wow thats a long clip but good nonetheless.were those finesse worms mojo rigged or were they fished on dropshot?

we're finding the topwater bite at inanda a bit disappointing at the mo...reckon it will come on over the next few days as the cooler weather pulls in.

thanks for the clips guys

The finesse worms were fished on mojo and drop shot. I like fishing finesse worms on dropshot and I use circle hooks on the drop shot.

The topwater bite is excellent at Inanda at the moment, on friday I got over 40 fish in about 6hrs and most were around the 1.5-1.8kg mark but I got about 5 over 3kg and got smashed up twice by 2 huge ones which pulled me ito the structure and broke me off., the fish are deep in the cover and you need to throw right through the grass/bush to the flooded area and then retreive your lure thrugh this and when it comes out in front slow it down or even dead stick it. I use a strike king z-too fished on a wide gape 5/0 hook and fished weightless, theis is the only way you will get deep into the structure without getting snagged. You need to fish light, I use 8lb braid with a 12lb toray floro leader of 300mm.

The area between the wall and quarry is working well and so are the cliffs oppisite the launch site.

Early in the morning I used a small crank bait and got about 4 fish but by 06h30 I switched to weightless as I could hear the fish behind the structure.

we found fish deep in the grass or on laydowns on a light texas rigged weenie worm, but we threw every topwater you could imagine. Think it was the day we fished (last Sat not this Sat that passed)rather than the spot we fished. Also had some success on Baby bass DLN and chart/white spinnerbait. Thank goodness for those few laydowns! Funny how things change week in and week out hey. I'll probably do a midweeker there soon

tight lines guys!
