Gear selector and throttle control cables

Does anyone know if I can have gear selector and throttle cables shortened in the Durban - South Coast area and if not, where can I purchase new cables? Assistance will really be appreciated.

I don't think I'd bother trying to shorten... Go to Accessory Spares (look them up online) and go pick up a brand new replacement. My 5c worth.

There is a place towards the end of Shepstone Road in Pinetown that can make or modify cables. Not sure of the name but I can try and find out if you want. Had cables made there before.
