Our peg came second - and it was clooooooose. We lost out by 1.21kg ! The peg that clipped us provided a close battle as the lead was changed 3-4 times. They also did not lose any fish and can not be said for our peg as we lost 4.
1 fish in the reeds just before being netted, 2 on rigs that weren't checked and one came loose from a ho0k not setting correctly.
No fish were caught during the day but provided opportunity to spod en get baitballs to the marker. Our 2 biggest fish were caught on DT Toasted Nut Boilies dipped in DT Toasted Nut Boilie Glug. PVA normal PVA mix with DT Toasted Nut Betaine Pellets.
Fish also came out on Kaboom with PVA sprayed with Sweetcorn.
Fishing was slow (for Donaldson) but in the end it was a good league.
