Garmin Echo Map 70dv

Hi

I have trolled the internet for reviews on the new Garmin 70dv, have not had much luck with anybody doing a review in SA. I am looking at buying one and would like to know what you guys/girls think of the unit.

Could i get some feedback on what you think of the above and maybe another option.

Application diving and fishing off Durban, 6.5m Falcon Rubber Duck with 2 60 Honda four stoke engines.

I have the new 721xs which is the same unit i think without the dv and i am so happy with mine, works like a charm!

Are you planning on using it offshore or fresh water, I have heard fantastic reviews on the down view but this is used in flat inland waters and it apparently does not work that well out at sea where there is a lot of boat movement!

I will be using it out at sea 99% of the at sea. Glad to here that you love your unit.
