Freshwater angling licences

Hi All,

The last time I bought an angling licence was at Rhenosterkop as part of the entrance fee.

Can anyboby tell me where I could buy new licences for the provices surrounding Gauteng?

Northern Province and Natal - No Licence

Mpumalanga - Gani's Witbank

Northwest - your guess is as good as mine

Gauteng - Solomon's Pretoria north - R5

Freestate - so far as I know also has none.

Cape - No IDea

Finally got an answer. SA Post Office should be able to issue you with fishing licences according to Logan at DEAT Pretoria.

HI Louis,Yes they do but only for Salt Water - Deat is clueless as to the freshwater stuff - try it by all means prove me wrong.........................

You only get salt license at post office.

U r right on both counts. The chap at post office is equally clueless. Assured me that the licence was for all fishing.

hey Guys,
I approached a number of tackle shops and they all told me that they dont stock licences anymore and its not a problem like before. they dont even worry nowadays.
