Footpocket Repairs

Hey Guys,

Just under a year ago I bought myself a set of Freedivers plastic fins, and recently discovered that the Foot Pocket has a small tear that is starting to develop.

Is there any way that i can repair it before it tears and breaks completely?

Haven't tried it but the glue used for conveyor belts (production line type) is apparently the stuff.Otherwise I have seen guys burn holes with a hot nail and make a shoelace type of repair that works if it does eventually tear all the way.

Hi Guys

I had the same problem with my pair of Freedivers fin pockets, only they lasted a few moths!:? 

Got a new pair from Rob Allen (same manufacturer) but they tore within 3 months!!!!

Now, I don't kick off the bottom and didnt use them for shore dives either.

It seems to be poor quality foot pockets and my solution is to take the shit back to the shop for a refund!::cavmn

If anyone else had a problem with Freedivers or Rob Allen foot pockets please let me know, power in numbers.

Hey Guys, got a solution from Eckart...He is putting me in touch with shane breedt at freedivers that will be able to repair them for me...Excellent service in my opinion

I know they had a batch which they had some issues with, if you work with the people you purchased your gear from they should be able to help you out and give you the best service..

As you know I am aware of your problem. At the time I had no stock of your size but did agree to replace them as soon as the stock arrived. If you checked your emails you will see that i again make mention of the fact that I now have your size in stock. Both Rob Allen and I are always willing to assist our customers. In future please feel free and call me , you have my numbers. The wetsuit top you just ordered should be ready buy mid March.
