Attached is a brochure for Footloose trout farm. I will be consulting and teaching at the venue on Weekends on behalf of Footloose if anyone is interested in trying out a venue that has everything and is fantastic for the family for a day out.
The venue has a members area that consists of 4 dams. The dams get stocked with trout end March early April and anglers might say stocked trout are easy to catch well I beg to differ. The members area is stricly CATCH AND RELEASE and that is the advantage of taking out a membership. Not many venues offer that unless you are Fishing Dullstroom or other fly fishing resorts. There is strict rules for members area but that is like any venue and is put in place to protect and ensure the trout survive.
The public area has 5 trout dams that will be stocked same time as members. These dams are very well stocked and is great fun for the novice and children. Any form of fishing is allowed in the public area. Members is Strictly fly fishing but in the summer months members are allowed to use bass equipment only. No bait!
There is 2 big dams for carp and barbel fishing, carp average 3kg+. Ive caught some big ones there so definitely a venue for specimen guys who want to do a day session. The main barbel dam has barbel that will seriously put your tackle to the test. Average size barbel is 9kg but there is much bigger.
The venue has all fish species (Trout, bass, vlei kurper, blue kurper, barbel and carp)
