Good Day to everyone!

I'm still a bit lost on sealine(as I'm a new member)and do not know where to post what and where to ask questions etc.

Anyway...

I've been doing some flyfishing for a while and whant to compete in some competitions...but do'nt know where to look or start the journey!All the competitions I've found you have to be a team or be a member(resulting in fee's) of the club etc...

Is there somebody that can help or advize be on some points???

Just for Just

I've fished the Mpumalanga area alot the last month and thought i'll justpost a veiw tips for those reading...

The fishing is excelent and the fish are spawning...but hooking the big one is a alot more challenging!
You can't go wrong when using anything orange,and one of the most succesful flies will be an orange egg fly 10/O,and be sure to retreive it very slow!I tied a long shank orange marbou damsel fly with gold beed head,size 10/O, with a 2 twich retreive was also excelent! Other flies with great success was redeye damsel black/olive, peacock hair black woolly bugger with blue flash,black zulu, peacock feather nymph works great in the clear waters,dullstroom orange and even a purple woolly bugger...dry flieing at dusk and dawn with a white or brown DDD also proved to be effective!
The one thing I realised was in Machadodorp area faster retreive,and Dullsteoom a slower retreive seems to be more efdective! I'll try to post a few picture...
