Hi guys. I have a fluid bed bought from Do-It. The bottom of each cup is porous stone - I suppose like something used in fishtanks?!

I will ask my customer for one of his old diaphrams, cut it up and send it to you guys. The sometimes tear but his is 1,5m square and we should get a few good pieces out of it.

Hmmm now that sounds more than likely the answer to the puzzle. I'll see if i can get a circular airstone and place it in the bottom then silicone the rim so that air only pumps up. But that can only be done saturday. Will post pics when i have a working prototype

Hi Guys

been making jigheads and powdercoating them with diy fluidbed

  1. Take 500ml coke bottle, air pump for fishtank, 20mm airstone and air valve for fishtanks[/*]
  2. cut bottle in half  and gleu cap to piece of wood or plastic to act as a base insert air stone in the bottom where bottles neck tapers down[/*]
  3. drill hole in lid to accomdate airline from airpump, seal edges around air stone with heatgun and install valve to control the flow of air[/*]
  4. And walla you have a very cheap and efficient fluidbed[/*]
