Fishing banned on breederiver at night

just finished reading this rather interesting document about the banning of fishing on the Breede river between 20H30 and 05H00. Have the lawmakers gone completely nuts!

Ever heard of the constitution..If you are not being violent, racist, or inciting these etc. and not infringing upon the rights of your fellow citizens then you are free to perform what ever actions of your body you so deem appropriate. You also have the freedom of unimpeded movement on any and all public space as you are a share and stake holder. The breede river is a 'river', thus being public space. If you have a fishing license you can go mad. If you don't you can't be lawfully stopped either so fish away and return the babies and breeding stock because it is responsible not because some BS law told you so.. And no I don't know anything about the new breede law but I know my actions are protected by law if I do so choose to fish there.

Maybe a local can enlighten us?

Don't know what you are a Doctor in, but that is certainly a very interesting take on the night fishing ban on the Breede

Also heartening to know I can from now on drive on any beach I choose to
