First Yellow on Fly

Saturday morning we headed for Potch to hunt for Yellows on fly. The weather was against us from the start, freezing cold and strong wind hampered our efforts. After a hard days fishing and losing 6 fish my determination paid off, not the largest fish in the world but a Yellow none the less caught on fly.

Hi guys, the morning was very cold and they were around but not really interested. At around 15h00 the waters erupted, there were Yellows everywhere. We unfortunately had to leave but the guys that were with us were catching one after the other, one guy caught 6 in about 10 minutes. GRHE, PTN Hot Spot and Mustard Caddis were the flies of choice although these guys tie a lot of their own combinations.
