Anyone of you fishing with or have used the now sadly deceased and discontinued Daiwa Mission X Carp rods?

any revies and or opinions on your experience with them ?

I have mine now for the last 3 months and cannot be happier with them, they cast a distance and play fish very well. Just this weekend I hooked into a good specimen and held on as it went for the reeds, walking back then forward reeling in I managed to land the beastie. The rod looked as if it would snap - well so be it I thought but it had enough power to tame old beastie.

However i cannot seem to get a 4th rod - the local shops are out of stock of the 3.5lb t/c versions. Be that as it may Kingfisher came to the rescue.

Anyone seen the new Mission X DF - endorsed by the Danny himself - goes for a pound and a penny at R2150 I priced it.

Awesome rods, pity that they've been replaced by the Mission DF which is double the price. Now I don't mind paying double but then they ought to have Fuji reel seats and guides.

I bought 3 second had to replace my old carp rods. They are exceptional value for money. Pity they are discontinued.

Mission X Df rods sound interesting, I'd love to see what they are like when they available in the shops.
