Finally a new farm dam
new water new fish new opportunities. Noticed that there was no bait fish because the water was crystal clear. But I did find allot of small frogs on the shore and there were lots of insects.
Pretty much the only thing they wanted was top water lures so I threw a jointed rapala and were nailing them on the surface left right and center. I then started throwing flukes and buzzbaits ;/ only got 1 on a fluke. I was catching the majority on the one spot where there was a big drop off. All of a sudden this lunker came out of nowhere and was chilling right in front of me about half a metre away. Threw about 10 different lures and he wouldn't take any just wasn't interested in anything but torturing me because even if I scared him away with one lure he would just come back and tease me more ;(
