Hey guys....i was invited to enter the esa lbsa pro series this past weekend by a few members off the inner circle....
Arriving early at umkomaas north bank we had some time to recce the boundry's and the surf, picking a suitable spot we set up and went thru for the angler's meeting, the rules were explained to all competitors and the fishing began....
Fish were far and few between but a few good specimens were landed and enough to cover all the prizes..
I must say though that the entire day was organised and executed to the highest level i have yet seen in competitive angling, as for the prizes, i wish i had won! The winner walked away with more he could carry, literally! The prize pool for the winner was over 15grand..thats 7grand in cash and 8grand in additional prizes!!! Well next time is going to be my turn............
The day rounded up with a quick casting comp and another winner in that division getting a beachmaster for his effort! After a chat with some familiar faces we were on our way back home...
