Lots of small shad at Gonubie point. Had great fun with my 8ft dropshot rod 8lb fireline and a small tin spoon. On Saturday night I was even catching them on a 1oz popper. The problem is that the wind is going to turn east from Wednsday for a few days and that will probably put an end to the fun.

The East wind will be good for Raggie fishing. If you get a shad at the point and put it out at the slipway (about 200mtr back from point) you may get pulled by a raggie or even a small Bronzie.
