Hi there

If any fellow angler who does boat fishing is looking for excellent company or need to full available place, please let me know.

I am an avid overnight harbour angler, guaranteed action packed fun time, with or without fish.

Hey Guys,

Fishing in the bay is a little sporadic at the moment and a lot depends on the wind.

On Monday evening we managed 2 grunters amoung 7 guys b4 being blown out.

On tuesday we had perfect weather and landed 11 grunters amoung 4 guys with 3 being over 4kg

Wednesday produced only 2 size grunters.

Thursday - no fishing.

Friday - Will post a report on tuesday.

good to hear you getting some fish mr GREAT KHANI lol.got a few spottys that made size last night on the surf to left of snake park pier.a few good size stumpies came out as well all on mussels.they didnt want sea lice funny enough.the water was beautiful and unfortunately had to come to work today so i had to leave grreat sea conditions and the fish biting.:doh

KHANI when are you joining me on a trip to the piers?

Well maybe you should try a trip with your Grunter Hunter, but with the Grunter hunter onboard also. That way the grunters don't stand a chance.

hi, i'v just been hooked onto fishing and as a beginner i'v fish in the bay mostly on a boat. We'v been out mailny at night, and we have pulled some nice size grunters but i'v yet to have a catch that satifies my ego!!!

i fish only with cracker, what do use??? Can you please advise me on what hook you use for grunter and the way in which you prefer to tie your trace

Khani, what bait do you use? I have tried Sardine, chokka, mud prawns etc but just cant catch any grunter bigger than 2kgs!
Whats your secret??

the worms do well in the harbour but are illegal, its a hefty fine as well if you caught. I did see a guy on ESA dig up a blood worm and use it legally on TV a few weeks ago!

howzit

My bru works for the sharks board so fortunately we get to spend the weekend at thier launch facility/ckub house. They have a jetty there and we have fished there alot but have never pulled anthing over 1.5 kilo.

Can guys please tell me were i can try to catch a decent size.
