DON'T FISH PEACE COTTAGE

hi guys

just a warning to anyone thinking of fishing peace cottage(past the lagoon - umhlanga). was there on saturday with a friend spinning for shad when 3 black guys came at us with knives. there was no one around so we started wading out to a rock about 10 meters past the shorebreak... two of them started to undress to come out to us and thank god they started to question their swimming skills as they seemed to be puzzling on the beach whether to come out... well what seemed like ages for a stand off, they eventually gave up and skulked back into the bushes... we ran like hell to umdloti...

went to the charge office and was told we shouldnt have been there... its a sad day in south africa when the police tell you you shouldnt be fishing in a certain spot..like its my fault for being up there. like they have the right to be living in the bushes..

anyway, if you ever see anyone dodgy coming up to you, start swimming, cause they probably cant..

Three guys with knives that couldn't swim against two okes with rods???? Mismatch of note and then they started to undress. Why did you go to the cops?, you could have had them all to yourselves. A knife in the hand of an Asshole that can't swim against a rod of 8 feet?. I'll take those odds. You should have klapped them stukkend and then drowned them.

Ah, now I remember why I left! Sorry for your experience it is indeed very sad. If you do ever get the opportunity to give some thugs concrete shoes, just post the coordinates so others can go fish off the feeding spot!

The same happened in Richards Bay about a year or 2 back on the main beach (Alkant Strand) An angler was shot dead right in front of his wife & kids (Sunday afternoon 4-5 o'clock) for his tackle box, and the beach was full of people, freaking insane.

Next time take two rotweilers with you, sure the "XXXXXXXXXX" meat will make good bait for sharks.

wasn't there a case like that aswell on the beach in mossel bay where a guy's throat was cut infront of his wife and kid for his tackle or his wallet can't remember

scally ohs !!!! in Cpt they first come skeef you out , and then go call their friends with guns !!!

the police are really messed up sometimes  !
