DIY shrimp pump

PVC pipe with a Male thread on the top. Get a cap to seal off the side (usually get female caps). Get a pump shaft from a tackle store and 2 metal pump washers and a handle for the shaft and a shaft collar rubber.

Drill a hole the diameter of the shaft in the female PVC cap. Insert the shaft down the drilled hole. put the shaft collar and handle on. At the other end put one of the washers on the bottom and then a squash ball with a hole in the middle onto the shaft. Place the other washer on the ball and screw vas. Bobs your aunty. I may have missed out something along the way

it might be better in the long run to shell out the bucks and get a stainless steel pump, I also faffed around making my own and they worked..but not for long.

Fork out the cash & buy yourself a Stainless Steel pump - pvc & sand dont get along that well over the long run!

i have my pvc pump for abt two years never had a problem with and it still works

fine ,  the key is not to lend  it to anyone (not even your family

paid sixty bucks for it

it is off the grey type pvc pump

think this might save u time to go fishing
