Diving over Easter- any other reports?

I went up to George over the Easter weekend and I dived with my new Freedivers Protoje 90 reelgun at an extremely cavy section of reef between George and Mosselbay. I was extremely impressed with the maneuverability of the gun in the cramped spaces I was working in and I just attached my stringer to the handle which was perfect because a floatline would have snagged on every overhanging ledge and I would have spent my whole dive wrestling with my floatline!
It was an extrmely sanding section with alot of sand being pushed up with the swell but if you found the right cave you would see alot of fish sitting in the back corner of the cave. The one thing I did forget to pack was my torch which would really have helped in a few dark caves.
I managed to find a small bronze bream and he was the first victim. After putting the fish on the stringer I searched around for another cave. It didn't take much longer for me to find a cave packed with large blacktails, I had to wait for the sand to settle but on the second look in the cave I spotted a belman in the back and pulled the trigger. The spear got stuck in the back of the cave and a wave broke over me, this is where I was really grateful I had a reelgun because I could just swim to the surface and use the line on the reel to locate the spear which I managed to get free on the first attempt.
I had managed to shoot a smallish belman and a blacktail in one shot!
I would say 90 gun is the perfect scratcher, if you are going to be hunting caves or cruising through the kelp looking for Galjoen.
anybody else did some diving?

No diving for me, spoke to the bubbleblowers at Noordhoek and they reported 13 degree water, so I gave it a miss.
