Hi all im looking to sort out my box as im getting back into my fishing and even want to go to trials and see what happens...

im going to give my list of dips and if you could please let me know in your opinion whats good and can stay in my box and what i can put in my trailer for "just incase"

swthomas my personal feeling is that more that 20 dips is to much. These are my top 20.

1. Perdeby

3. Yellow activator

8. TCP (buy some  3cp from shoprite, the real thing)
9. Monster Carp (MG dip tcp & fruit mix)
10. Legend
11. Hemp seed oil
12. Any sweetcorn dip (I prefer the one from Eco Catch, Martin Louw's one is apparently very good))
13. Secret Agent (Toffee Apple dip form Martin Louw, with tigers on a hair works like a bom)
14. Chakalaka
15. Juana
16. Scopex
17. Eucalypts
18. Q35
19. Tjop-Tjop (or kap-kap)
20. Plain Mollasses

Ja nee kyk ek het mou maar al van klein tyd al baie vertroue in TCP gekry en sal seker maar altyd he. Baie bly oor die 3cp wat op die mark is.

Sjoe, that is a mouth full.

If I had to go fishing with your box, I would take out the following and keep it in the trailer.

Cina 1 (You got plenty other cinamon type dips)
Aniseed
Duiwelsdrek (You covered it with Dynamite anyway)
Eucolyptus
Red banjo
Tripple X

Would also replace white garlic with Devilsfork.

And somewhere you need Strawlic/Sweet activator/Chakalaka, just different names for basically the same dip.

Normal dips, I would keep that all in the trailer. That way you will be able to carry the box to your stand comfortabily....

Thanks for all the help and advice guys....

One more question.....As for floaties i only have plain floats :plain white ;red;orange and yellow

do i need any others and has anyone used those raptor floats from champion

I use moslty plain yellow and plain white floaties. Only recently bought Bunspice 32 floaties and I might by FX floaties. But that is it. With all the dip flavours available you will only confuse yourself.

When it comes to floats I will stick to plain white and plain yellow floats. . If you what to flavour them just put a few floats in a bankie add the flavour (dip) you desire let them soak (do mine for +/- 20 to 30 minutes. Take out let them dry and pop goes the weasel. After soaking you can also shake them in a mix of custard (flour, cinnamon powder etc) and florescence powder (green ; red or yellow) to get a bleeding effect in the water.

Plain white, yellow and red. Then I do also use garlic, cina, almond. I also use FX floaties but more for the colour than the taste. One can always dip the plain floats in the flavour of the day.

With worms I use Bloodworm and Mosquito Larva floats. Works great.
