diawa exceller rod

went to kingfisher on monday afternoon and was looking at the light tackle rods and enquired about the range and sizes suitable for my d/s and light spooning applications.nothing there was too appeiling tho the ranges were quite good.i was then advised about the exceller rods,unfortunately therre was no stock of it.does anyone have this rod and any info about it?

Don’t know much about the rod as the first shipment sold out pretty quick, they were suppose to land the next shipment in mid December, might not have happened.

 

One that I do know is that compared to the overseas pricing of this rod, they are expensive here.  Here in SA they retail for about R500 – R550, considering that the retail in the USA is $26, someone’s making a good profit margin on these rods.

The consignment of these rods are expected to arrive in mid Jan,so i was told at kings.however i did get the oppertunity to check one out at ciscos tackle shop in sea-view.its the only one around,and a great look and feel  to the rod as well.
