Diablo 111 Big Fish Rod

Can anyone help me choose a surf rod? I was going to buy a Shimano Exage 100 (10ft) surf rod for general spinning and a bit of rock and surf use when the guys at Western Accessories showed me a Diablo 111 (3) Big Fish rod. It is app. 10ft with a cast weight of 400g. I want to know if anyone has any advice as to which rod is better as I have never used either?

I am wanting to use it for spinning with heavier plugs to target Garrick etc. and to cast 6onz sinkers when targetting edibles in the mid-surf zone. Thanx

I had a Balazar Diablo rod once.Was very happy with it.Dont know if its the same rod but if so its a good stick.

Thanx Hooked. I see now there is a Diablo 4 out yesterday. I will make a turn there tommorrow and check it out. If there is any more news I will post it. Cheers
