I have recently treated myself a purchased a pair of 12'6 DC Pinpoint LTD's matched with Shimano medium baitrunner xtb5500lc's.
On a decent day i can fish line clip of 135m with m1,5. I wanted to find out if anyone here can advise if they get much more distance or is it pretty much the punch the rod has to deliver?
I know that these rods were never advertised as distance casting rods, but in today's day and age pretty much any rod can do some form of distance casting.
P5 i could get 191m at the dam with a frequent casting distance of 180ish. The rod handles perfectly and feels so energetic as if the rod is capable of so much more.
