Dash on the tide Chart

Hi all,

I am struggling to understand the dash on a tide cart, what doe this mean? Will the water level be effected? What species feed on this tide?

Please share your knowledge.

Hi, I am not too sure what you are referring to, but I think the dash would indicate that there will be no high or low tide in that timeframe. sometimes you will only have (and not two) high or low in the PM or AM timeframe. When there is a tide missing in the timeframe it will be indicated by a dash.
