Daiwa Tanacom Bull

Guys I am new to this forum and very glad that i could find this info on kite fishing in a forum format.

I just ordered my flexi-wing conversion kite from Pauls fishing kite in NZ mainly to target dolphin fish swimming closer to the shore <1000m out. I have been looking at the Daiwa Tanacom Bull reel spooled with 80lb braid. This will enable me to wind it quickly and more constantly when Boats are approaching without the fatigue of 30mins reeling in all that line. I've seen these on youtube and seem good to go.

Which rod would you recommend and how do i verify that this reel will fit the rod reel seat? I was thinking of a 50lb Penn Senator 3140RS.

Do you think this would be a suitable setup?

 He Would have the info you need , but the bull sounds to be the one .

 remember It's only Going to pull in the Bait and the Kite , really , or are you Planning to use it to pull in some fish as well  ?

 

Down in south africa , where This site is based (can you believe it) , there aren't too many guys like Mysefl and psy that arefamiliar with this dying sport , due to it being so finnicky .

Most big boat rods would work , and If i Remember correctly , the Reels are Pretty Much bolted to the darn Rods ...as it'd pretty Much break off and fall out of , an ordinary reel seat ....!


 Oh, it's a beast allright ...

 and far too expensive here in Sa . We use a Kp - In other words- we wind in Manually ..just not from 1100 m....... Crikey .

 that's almost from here to georgia and back !
