I got this pics of an Indonesian manufacturer/exporter of Daiwa Reels.

It has a digital display screen! I was told that they go for $200 USD in Indonesia!

I have seen reels similar to this used for kite fishing but generally with a much broader spool, they have build in line counters which gets displayed on the screen.
I would imagine the one in the pic would be used for deep water boat applications.

That must be an old model or something as the new ones come in at $600 - $1000 plus (US)!

I am actually planning a trip to Indonesia early next year. They quoted me some good prices too, "open box" or "demo unit" specials. But you have to be weary as there are some scams.
