Cuttlefish - easier to catch on squid jigs but well done on catching one on the dropshot! Great bait when fresh like that, and supposedly good eating too...
Here's a pic of a 2lb 8oz cuttle caught during a squid comp in which I participated in May 2008.
Oh that wasn't me, that was a fellow angler who caught the cuttle during the comp. I did catch the biggest squid of the day at 2lb 9oz though! Doesn't look that big in the pic cause I just don't pose properly (with arms stretched out) for fishing pics.
