:welk1Deon ,congratulations buddy.

WARNING!!! As much as you think you caught that barbel, believe you me, that barbel has caught YOU,  DIS NOU ALS VERBY.I know there will be many more thrills and that this will  only be the beginning.

You should thank me for lifting the jealousy jinx.!!! the grass you mention looks a lot like "snotterbella" which is alien, and can be removed with a tractor ,a cable, and a length of railway track?/spoor drawn across the bottom sideways,if they are not attached to the bottom, just clear a few "honey-holes" big enough to klop in.

Now you know why you need a rod that can pull the cats through the thick stuff, and keep them from escaping to the reeds.

Daai meerminne gaan jou nog mal maak, ha ha ha

Ek is reg vir hulle.

Die dam is nie op die plaas nie. Maar my bakkie in lowrange met 'n lang fris tou en 'n paar hakke kan ook seker die job doen...

just grab ut with ur fingers under the jaw and ur thumb on top of it's head. It also get the bugger to be still, gets a bit difficult over the 10kg mark to hold them like that but it helps to handle them especially on a boat.

Thats the ticket, they have a neat 'pouch' under the chin. You can even put your thum into the mouth and lowwer lip and fingers outside in the pouch.

Built in handle!
