Category C

I was considering installing another outboard engine on our boat, but as we already have a inboard engine, I was wondering if this could allow our boat to qualify as a C category? Our boat's current rating is a D. The outboard I was considering installing is a smaller horsepower than our current inboard.

Will there be a problem upgrading to a category C?

Hi J@nnus,

I have seen two boats at the ZYC with two different size engines on them with a Cat c reg.

However i strongly suggest getting hold of a surveyor for the final thumbs up.
