Casual Sunday Bassing

For the last couple of months I am ashamed to say but I have to even taken any rods out of their cloths. Driving around the EL area and speaking to anglers who haven't caught anything have made myself and the girl reluctant to go out and even try our luck during the winter months, so when her dad phoned me to say that the Bass are in a frenzy at one of our local dams in town, i was excited to say the least.

I gave Rosie a call to tell her the news and advised her to bring down her bass kit from EL when she came to visit this past weekend.

Friday 5pm comes and the two of us are at the water. To her horror she had brought the butt and tip of two different rod - they dont fit. F**k. Still, we decide that I will have 10 casts and if there is a bite we will definitely come again on Sunday with the right rod for her.

First Cast - fish on
Second Cast - fish on
Third Cast - fish on

Smiling from ear to ear. I gave my rod to her and the same. Pulling bass out left right and center.

Sunday before sunset we are back with two complete set-ups, enjoying each others company whilst the bass keep us entertained.
