hi stevi, welcome to sealine. i don't know anything about trolling motors and things like that, in fact i think you'd probably do better trying the bass or general freshwater section, but i do recall seeing a fishfinder that can be mounted on a canoe...don't ask me where i saw it, probably in a magazine, but try any reputable tackle dealer, they can probably put you on the right track.

Just wanted to hear if someone could tell me where I can find a canoe or kayak with a trolling motor and where I could buy a fish finder for it???

Hi Stevi,

Mounting the transducer for a fish finder on a kayak is not that easy. With a fibreglass kayak you can actually mount it on the inside, as long as there is no air between the transducer and the water. With plastic kayaks, what i have been doing is using velcro to hold the trnasducer on, this avoids it breaking as the velcro will just tear loose before damage is done.
