Buy Jetski?

what is the normal secondhand price you would pay for an entry level safe jetski just to start of fishing in the deepsee?

I have recently bought an XL 760 Waverunner,with fish finder,breakneck trailer and tackle including rodds from a mate of mine for 40K,that also includes service and new battery,capsize bottle etc.

I bought from a friend so also know that the ski was well maintained ,and believe that it is a good entry level ski

Sheldon I think you made a very good buy especially because you knew the guy.

What do one do when you are in very deep with no-one around and your engine wont start, its a big concern to me?

Yes I also am a bit nervous about that,but have bought a radio and am having a dual battery system put in..........just in case.Getting it done by the Codfather......:fishn

Thanks for the quick reply, will the radios work if you roll the ski- when the radios was fully submerged in water?

Thats a good question,II do know that it is fully waterproof.........suppose one would have to right the ski again and hope that it works
