Braid vs nylon

any idea's on what the benifits of braid are,other than zero strech,does it outlast nylon from a lifspan perspective?

you can cast further, much further, with a small jighead, line doesnt curl or have memory, can fit much more on your spool than nylon - I am sure it will outlast nylon (but I may be wrong) - and very important - you can feel the tiniest nibble or bite

Under normal conditions braid will outlast nylon, it will last MUCH MUCH longer

on average, I change nylon after every season (If I don't lose any due to other problems), but the braid on my HEAVILY fished small reel has been going strong for about 2 years already
